Job Description:

The Misconduct & Breach Reporting team is responsible for the assessment and action on reports of alleged misconduct and breach notifications received by ASIC from members of the public and regulated businesses.  The role of the team is to assesses reports of misconduct relating to financial services, credit, corporate governance and insolvency as well as insider trading, continuous disclosure and market manipulation, for consideration of enforcement or other action which is critical to ASIC’s work in maintaining consumer confidence and market integrity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate incoming information, creating and maintaining digital files
  • Monitor email inboxes for incoming information to action
  • Escalate matters to Team Leader as necessary
  • Register complaints, reports, correspondence, and documents accurately and in a timely manner
  • Record subject and reporter details accurately in database
  • Correspond and communicate with team members and external stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support and assistance across the team as required.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • A high school / secondary education certificate or diploma.
  • Experience in following procedures and defined processes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Experience using a variety of software applications.
