Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the management of the Gallery’s important support organisations, being the Friends and the Foundation
  • Oversees the co-ordination of the Gallery’s volunteer program
  • Assists our Art Gallery Director in the facility managements, administrative, and financial operations of the Gallery
  • Supervises the administrative team and co-ordinates Gallery office procedures
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of the promotion and marketing program

Qualification & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordination and administration of volunteer programs
  • Experience in financial and administrative management, including maintenance of financial records, stock reconciliations, purchases and banking
  • Experience and ability to build and maintain working relationships with influential support organisations, philanthropists, donors and the corporate sector
  • Tertiary qualifications relevant to any of the key responsibility areas of the position
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
