Job Description:
We are offering a terrific role within MidCoast Assist that needs your unique combination of IT and Finance skillsets. MidCoast Assist is a part of MidCoast Council, providing ageing and disability services to the mid-coast community. If you’re looking for a part time role (14 hours pw) that you can sink your teeth into, this could be it! This role provides systems support including user set-up, configuration and troubleshooting issues on our Client Management System (MYP), so you’ll be a great communicator with a calm, supportive nature. Navigating systems will be your strong suit and you’ll be super comfortable and experienced in this space.
Job Responsibilities:
- Confirm service delivery data with service staff and provide staff with reporting to enable program and individual budget monitoring.
- Undertake month end processing including journals, purchase allocations, administration and advisory claims, reconciliations and adjustments.
- Manage service data verification, report lodgement and issue resolution.
- Produce monthly client statements.
- Monitor and process all individual claims for payments through government portals.
- Manage debtor invoicing and handle any associated enquiries.
- Prepare creditor payments and reimbursements for processing.
- Manage internal and external financial data reporting / lodgement including assisting with preparation of funding acquittals and reports to funding providers.
- Assist with costing and unit price analysis.
- Assist with the financial component of funding submissions.
- Maintain accurate and up to date service financial information in relevant sites, including
program details and fees and charges.
Job Requirements:
- Qualifications in Accounting or related.
- Comprehensive program knowledge.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to customer-centred service delivery with a proven record of achievement.
- Working With Children and Criminal Check clearance.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships and partnerships, both internally and externally, that contribute to the achievement of organisational outcomes.
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience and comprehensive knowledge working with client management systems, preferably The Care Manager (TCM).
- Experience in a finance / business administration role, preferably in the community services sector.
