Job Description:

This is a temporary, full-time secondment that will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the LPS team for a 12 month period. As Legal and Property Services Support Officer, you will need to be capable of quickly adapting to changing priorities and working, both independently and collaboratively, to achieve team goals. This role will require you to be responsible for a variety of duties including handling telephone and counter enquiries from customers, monitoring correspondence received into Council’s electronic records management systems, amending and formatting electronic documents (including reports and contracts), data entry, photocopying and scanning documents and arranging mail delivery.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications including excellent word processing skills and intermediate Excel skills
  • Certificate in Office Administration or similar field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in an office/administrative capacity
  • Previous experience providing quality customer service
  • Proven capacity to work independently
