Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare purchase orders, payment requisitions and reimbursements
  • Exercise good judgement, prioritise conflicting needs and problem solve matters
  • Provide administrative and communication support to the Mayor
  • Support the Executive Manager in the implementation of a stakeholder management plan
  • Provide research support and preparation of Mayoral documents
  • Attend to all requests and enquiries and respond with appropriate actions expeditiously
  • Facilitate meetings and provide secretarial support where required.

Job Requirements:

  • Stakeholder management that ensures strong relationships and constructive outcomes
  • Advanced writing and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive experience in providing high level executive and administrative support
  • Strong judgement
  • Proven ability to exercise confidentiality, discretion, and initiative
  • Strong integrity and a proven ability to remain objective within the workplace
  • Advanced technological skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience.
