Job Description:
We are welcoming casual Venue Assistants to join our fun and energetic team at the Morayfield Sport & Events Centre (MSEC) and Redcliffe Entertainment Centre (REC)!
Our venue teams are on the frontline delivering outstanding customer service to staff, clients, patrons and contractors. This can include a variety of tasks, from setting up events and serving customers to replenishing stock, whipping up a coffee, ushering and cleaning the venues.
These positions are truly casual, meaning hours can be varied depending on the demand and the types of events running.
Job Requirements:
- Café and barista experience
- Cash handling and utilising Point of Sale (POS);
- Face to face customer service experience in a busy environment
- Physically able and willing to set up and pack down events (lifting, moving, pushing and pulling)
- Driven to deliver exceptional customer service
- Is vibrant, positive and proactive
- Punctual and reliable
- Can proactively work autonomously and within a team.
- Working with Children Blue Card.
- Qld RSA – Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
- First Aid & CPR certification
