Job Description:

We are looking for someone who is innovative, motivated and ready to work in a fast-paced environment with passionate specialist teams.

As one of our Principal Stakeholder Engagement Officer’s, you will play an essential role in supporting the Community Engagement team to deliver a full and fast paced program of community engagement.

Working in collaboration with teams across Council, you will partner to identify engagement needs and requirements, design consultation programs and deliver them to a high standard. Acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders you’ll identify key risks and opportunities and help to bring ideas to encourage participation.

Job Requirements:

  • High level of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop quality content (both traditional and digital) to meet the need of a range of audiences.
  • Comprehensive experience in developing key messages and collateral such as such as marketing materials, business cards and other promotional items.
  • Demonstrated analytical and research skills, including conducting research through community consultation.
  • Ability and willingness to work occasionally outside normal working hours, including weekends as required.
