Job Description:
We are currently looking for reliable, loyal and hard- working Food & Beverage Attendants/ Servers/ Waiters to work for us on a casual basis for Karralyka Centre in Ringwood East, Melbourne. Enjoy the flexibility of casual work while working at Karralyka Functions and Theatre.
Suitable applicants must have the necessary skills with recent, proven experience working in hospitality venues along with the ability to follow instruction, recognise, anticipate and fulfil guest’s needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serving beverages (both alcoholic & nonalcoholic) to guests through table service or bar service.
- Preparing bar areas for service and operating cash registers as required.
- Providing food service to table via three plate carry and clearing by hand.
- Clearing function rooms and bar areas of glasses and beverages when necessary.
- Greeting guests and providing excellent customer service.
- Other duties as reasonably required by the Duty Supervisor and the Front of House Operations Coordinator.
- Cooperate and comply with the requirements of all Maroondah City Council policies and procedures and any actions taken by Council to comply with relevant Acts and Regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Current RSA a must
- Working with Children check (Employee)Experience at Conferences, Banquets, Functions, Theatre or High End
- Restaurants is essential
- Recent Barista experience is highly advantageous.
- Immaculate Personal Presentation & Grooming to meet high Standards
- Impeccable Attention to Detail
Qualification & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience using food and beverage attendant skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of functions, and food and beverage operations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with supervision
