Job Description:

This role is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader to manage our Corporate Planning and Performance department to drive the preparation and delivery of Council’s corporate strategies and plans, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, grant co-ordination and performance metrics. Reporting to the Group Manager for Strategy, Performance and Business Systems, this position plays a key role in ensuring Council’s corporate planning suite aligns with community and Council priorities and meets the legislative requirements of the NSW Integrated Planning & Reporting Framework.

Job Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role, you will possess degree qualifications in Business, Commerce, Public Administration or a related discipline, and/or a combination of contemporary industry experience coupled with relevant education and training.
  • An outstanding collaborator, your experience in strategic, corporate or business planning and performance will see you skilled in the development and implementation of strategic planning frameworks and management of corporate planning and performance reporting systems.
  • Your high levels of energy and proficiency in identifying and analysing quantitative and qualitive data will assist you in the preparation and management of plans that meet the strategic and operational targets of the organisation.
  • Finally, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills that complement your leadership experience in supporting a team to reach organisational objectives and meet tight deadlines, with the proven ability to synthesise views and influence outcomes with people across all levels of the organisation.
