Job Description:

his full-time permanent Marketing & Digital Officer position reports directly to the Promotions and Campaign Coordinator. This position is responsible for the implementation and management of the Council’s digital marketing strategy, enhancing community engagement to meet Council’s objectives and requirements.

This position is required to manage digital assets for the Sports, Leisure and Facilities branch. You will be required to manage social media channels, providing expertise in relation to providing business plans and project plans for digital marketing activities, promoting products and services for the Logan City Entertainment Centre & Community Venues and Leisure Centre.

Job Requirements:

  • Current “C” class drivers licence
  • Degree in Marketing (Digital), Communication or similar would be advantageous
  • Current Blue Card for working with Children (or willingness to obtain) – Please note this is Mandatory for this position
  • Willingness to undergo employment-related background check/s and be assessed as suitable to be able to ethically perform the inherent requirements of this position.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to plan and coordinate campaigns
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement process understanding
  • Website management, social media platform management, digital campaign management
  • Experience in developing and implementing best practice marketing and social media campaigns
  • Knowledge of current and emerging digital media trends and digital technologie
