Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to develop, manage and lead the Community Engagement and Stakeholder Relations function,
responsible for effectively managing Logan Water’s community engagement, customer education and stakeholder relations
activities to drive strong community and stakeholder outcomes.
As a senior specialist, this role is responsible for the development, leadership and continual improvement of all community and
stakeholder engagement activity with an integrated, consistent and customer centric approach to the delivery of infrastructure
and services by considering the impact to all key stakeholders and the community. The role is accountable to achieve Logan
Water’s performance targets relating to community and stakeholder engagement that align with the customer management
model and strategy.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree qualifications in Business Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Stakeholder Engagement or a related discipline and demonstrated substantial knowledge and previous experience leading successful community and stakeholder engagement focused teams. Certification in IAP2 public participation or similar methodologies and extensive experience in deliberative community engagement planning and techniques in diverse communities.
  • Significant industry experience in a complex multi-channel customer and community engagement environment, experience in both the private and public sectors is desirable. communication and marketing strategies, and the development of associated reporting on performance and success measures. environmental, social, legislative, and financial business policy framework within which Logan Water is required to operate.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively consult, negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders and community members, and tailor messaging to audiences appropriately Demonstrated experience managing customer complaints and dispute resolution.
  • An understanding of local and State government political functions and areas of responsibility, and the ability to influence
    through the provision of expert advice to elected representatives, government agencies or senior management with respect to Logan Water community engagement related activities.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Demonstrated specialist experience in developing and implementing community and stakeholder engagement plans,
  • Experience working with graphic design teams, photographers, videographers and content creators.
  • Experience managing community and stakeholder engagement teams in a large organisation in line with the community,
