Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and implementation of educational activities which cater for varying age groups.
- Maintain a safe and pleasant environment within the Crèche and ensure that any incidents are reported in line with Centre policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the set up and pack up of Crèche sessions and complete all cleaning duties as required including cleaning of all equipment
- Liaise effectively and professionally with children and their parents/caregiver
- Maintain records and follow all procedures as required by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the Goldfields Oasis;
- Maintain all levels of service in regards to site presentation, equipment maintenance and public health;
- Adhere to Centre procedures and practices which are compliant with current statutory and regulatory requirements;
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills;
- Current “Working with Children” card;
- Minimum age of 21 years and over as per regulations;
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate;
- Current satisfactory National Police Clearance;
- Current WA “C” Class driver’s license.
- Demonstrated experience in working with children;
