Job Responsibilities:
- To ensure the Accounts Receivable invoices and statements are issued promptly to facilitate payment in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Assist with the debt recovery process.
- Through effective communication and customer service provide an efficient, reliable, and confidential Accounts Receivable service relative to the needs of Council.
Job Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of the financial/ accounts receivable functions of a large organisation.
- Demonstrated experience and competence with financial software.
- Demonstrated experience and competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and the advanced
features (ie Excel, Word, Access and Outlook). - Proven ability to ensure data integrity is maintained, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to balance competing
workloads and deliver within non-negotiable deadlines. - Proven experience in negotiating arrangements with customers.
- Ability to interpret legislation effectively.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to consult, share information and to work collaboratively.
