Job Description:
The Councils City Works Department is looking for a Road & Drainage Maintenance Operator who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the council’s infrastructure and asset within municipality and in accordance with works and management programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safe and competent driving of vehicles over to 13.9 tonnes GCM including suction trucks;
- Knowledge and skills in drainage maintenance; and
- Maintaining and Cleaning the Council’s assets under a pit maintenance program
Job Requirements:
- Drainage Maintenance knowledge;
- The ability to manage competing priorities;
- Good independent thinking & problem solving skills;
- The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team;
- A current Medium Ridge Licence
