Job Description:

Council’s Property Services team are looking for experienced and passionate professionals to join our Finance and Commercial Services unit. The Leasing and Transactions Officer provides professional and expert support to the Senior Coordinator Property Services team to provide effective management and to delivery expert property advice on Council’s Property portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

The successful applicants will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the leasing, licencing, acquisition and disposal of property, liaising with several internal and external stakeholders on various matters.

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of the legal framework in developing lease/licence agreements
  • Knowledge in the preparation of lease/licence agreements
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel and Tech one
  • Current class C driver’s licence
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple property projects and leasing transactions
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making capabilities
  • Superior communication skills including effective

Qualification & Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in property related dealings such as sales, leasing, commercial valuation and/or property management
  • Significant experience in the management and negotiating property contracts including leases/licences agreements
  • Highly experienced with proven track record dealing with property and/or leasing transactions
