Job Description:
Based at the St Albans Community Centre (STACC) which incorporates the Bowery Theatre, these positions works within a small team with the primary purpose to provide excellent customer service in ushering, box office and function services in the venue’s Front of House areas. To assist in maintaining a welcoming environment and a high level of friendly, efficient and excellent customer service for all visitors, patrons, hirers and stakeholders at the venue.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a high level organizational skills and ability to manage a number of tasks concurrently
- Must have a high level of computer literacy particularly in relation to word-processing, booking systems such as Content Manager, Trybooking, IMS booking systems, desktop publishing and databases
- Must have the ability to work in accordance with our values and behaviours.
- Must have a high level of spoken and general presentation skills
- Must be able to work irregular hours and extra hours (involves working weekends)
- Must have a current Working with Children Check; First Aid and CPR and a Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
Qualification & Experience:
- Must have demonstrated experience in, and commitment to, high quality customer service, including the ability to communicate with a broad range of customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Must have demonstrated experience in or knowledge of theatre, cinema or arts venue event management customer service, appropriate experience in the hospitality industry or facility administration
- A relevant second language Experience in safe crowd management practice Current driver’s license
