Job Description:

Accountable to the General Manager Regional City Planning and Assets you will be responsible for the overall management of the Regional City Planning Department to enhance the amenity of the natural and built environment and contribute positively to the economic development of Latrobe City Council. Your role will be to ensure that Latrobe City Council operates at the highest level of regulatory efficiency and effectiveness and meets all of its obligations as a Local Government planning authority and is a well-regarded service to the community.

Job Requirements:

  • Expertise and proven ability in successfully leading, managing and delivering the full range of services as outlined under specialist skills and experience in the position description
  • A bachelors degree in Urban Planning or relevant discipline.
  • 2 or more years management experience.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination in line with Council Policy.
