The Patent Analytics Hub is an inclusive, collaborative team that values Harmony, Delivery, Teamwork and Growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research that supports business decisions regarding policy and patent strategy, licensing, IP portfolio management, collaboration, and R&D investments
  • Work collaboratively with staff within the Patent Analytics Hub and the Office of the Chief Economist in developing project methodologies, undertaking complex patent analyses and studying technological developments.

  • Well-developed teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Coding skills, such as SQL, Python, R or Spark, or the ability to learn these skills, are not essential, but would be well regarded.
  • Highly developed problem-solving and decision-making skills, and attention to detail
  • Highly developed organisational skills including flexibility and the ability to prioritise to deliver to deadlines.
