Job Description:
Hobsons Bay City Council seeks an experienced strategic planner to help deliver exciting and diverse projects that will shape the future of our municipality. The successful candidate will bring previous experience in strategic planning in either the government or private sectors, with an understanding of and experience using the Victorian planning system.
Situated on Port Phillip Bay around 7km west of central Melbourne, Hobsons Bay is an established municipality with over 20kms of coastline, a rich natural environment, a diverse community and local economy including a growing number of manufacturing, transport and goods distribution companies and service industries. The city is superbly located, with great access to key transport facilities and Altona beach a short walk from the newly refurbished Council offices.
