Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager Enterprise Risk, this role offers the opportunity to deliver a proactive WHS culture and develop innovative systems that promote safe and healthy work practices. You will be responsible for responding to WHS risk management issues through development of appropriate policies and procedures, training and development and reporting systems as well as promoting a health and wellbeing program to foster a healthy and resilient workforce.

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW
  • Detailed knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, codes of practice and standards
  • Ability to prepare risk assessment reports across a range of disciplines
  • Class C Drivers Licence

Qualification & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity, providing direction and motivating a small team and working across teams to engage Safety Representatives
  • Experience in developing and overseeing Wellness Strategies
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in developing and continually improving the WHS and Injury Management Systems
