Job Description:

You will work both collaboratively and independently on the delivery of key projects and programs responsible for contributing to the long term sustainability of the City. This may include working on the investigation and facilitation of long term urban growth opportunities, including residential and employment land and other projects to support the SEQ Regional Plan.
The role is varied and duties may include: developing and amending strategic land use policy; undertaking research and investigations to present information for informed decision making; responding to, and being proactive, in the delivery of State and regional initiatives; management of projects to deliver positive planning outcomes for the city; preparation and presentation of reports for committees; and stakeholder engagement

Job Requirements:

  • Technical skills applicable to the role as identified in the screening questions.
  • Planning and organisation skills to ensure prioritisation and timely completion of tasks.
  • Demonstration of a high level of interpersonal, oral and written skills.
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail, ability to analyse issues, problem solve and the ability to contribute to policy development.
