Job Description:
We are seeking a suitably experienced project manager to actively engage stakeholders, clients and suppliers to deliver strategic and operational service enhancements toward the transformation of Reef HQ Aquarium.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engagement activities that use innovative techniques to draw out creative ideas from participants and public audiences over culturally sensitive issues in a responsible manner.
- Represent the Reef Authority in working with external suppliers and designers to meet agreed objectives.
- Provide management advice through high quality briefs, reports and submissions which include well considered and holistic recommendations and accurately captures stakeholder views alongside own research and analysis.
- Foster positive relationships in complex relations with internal and external stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals.
- Undertake all aspects of project planning and delivery that includes the development of project plans, reports and budgets to manage key deliverables and milestones.

- You are a natural problem solver and creative thinker known for seeing things through to completion.
- You are a creative engagement expert that can see big picture issues.
- You have strong project management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage projects within tight timeframes to deliver required results.
- You are highly skilled in stakeholder engagement and can facilitate internal and external stakeholder meetings and rationalise various priorities and view-points to make holistic recommendations.
- You have high level written and oral communication skills and proven liaison with a wide range of people (including teachers, researchers, contractors, and leaders from business, industry and government as well as Traditional Owners).
- You are able to operate under limited direction, exercising initiative and good judgement
