Job Description:

The Audit, Risk and Assurance Coordinator is responsible for leading and actioning complex day-to-day activities including the coordination of ANAO activities, reporting periodic outcomes through governance committees, developing and monitoring of the agreed audit report recommendations and ability to define internal audit scope, conduct internal audit reviews and document internal audit findings.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to problem solve complex processes with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with internal and external audits including the coordination of delivery;
  • Understanding of Internal Controls and Assurance frameworks;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing work in risk, audit and assurance (e.g. coordination of audit outcomes for internal and external audit, management of internal control and assurance frameworks, business continuity plans, risk management plans and reporting against these outcomes).
  • Understanding of managing operational and shared risk processes;
  • A general understanding of the Commonwealth resource management framework and the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability legislation.
