Job Description:
The Cyber and Electronic Warfare Division (CEWD) leads Australia’s science and technology research associated with digital and electronic warfare threats in the information environment and across the electromagnetic spectrum. The Division develops S&T to sense, interpret and shape the information environment to better understand, and assist in deterring and responding to, these threats through science and technology that helps shape, deter and respond to these digital and electromagnetic threats.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge and/or experience of software, firmware, and hardware reverse engineering, and network protocol reverse engineering and analysis
- An aptitude or track record for conducting research and development
- An appreciation of the complexity and inherent susceptibilities of military cyber technologies
- Skills in software or hardware development relevant to the role
- The ability to work both as a member of a team and individually
- Ability to think conceptually, to structure, analyse and solve complex problems through sound research and engineering practices
- The ability to inspire, collaborate, and communicate with influence
