Job Description:
The Department of Defence is seeking a high performing leader to fill the position of First Assistant Secretary Financial Performance and Management in the Defence Finance Group. This position directly reports to the Chief Finance Officer (SES Band 3) and has seven Branch Heads (SES Band 1s) reporting to it. The Financial Performance and Management Division is geographically dispersed, consisting of over 400 Australian Public Servants and contractors.
