We are seeking an innovative, commercially astute and strategic Finance professional to provide empowering leadership to their team of Management and Financial Accounting professionals, while providing strategic advice to the whole organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the development of Bayside City Council’s annual budget and long term financial plan;
- Managing the preparation of the annual financial statements and other statutory reporting requirements;
- Ensuring that the financial systems capability is fully developed and utilised;
- Leading a highly engaged team responsible for financial accounting; management accounting, financial systems administration; accounts payable and asset accounting.
