Job Description:

The role of the Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cost effective planning for, and execution of, the detailed cleaning of Central Coast Council’s public toilets to the quality and frequency required.This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
Council will also be creating an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other Cleaner vacancies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Clean designated public amenities within an assigned area;
  • Notify and report on works requiring attention.
  • Paint out limited amounts of graffiti vandalism on public amenities;

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in cleaning public amenities;
  • Current Class C Driver’s License;
  • Valid Construction General Induction Card – NSW WorkCover or equivalent;
  • Experience in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with staff and the public;
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
