Working as part of the Public Relations and Community Engagement team, you will be responsible for improving communication and interaction with the community through the continual development and implementation of digital communications.
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
- A strong communicator with proven stakeholder management experience;
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual; and
- A commitment to working as part of a small team and creating a great workplace culture shaped around the City’s values of Listening, Considered Decision Making, Appreciation, Respect and Team Work.
Qualification & Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related field or equivalent relevant experience;
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination of communication and engagement programs/ strategies;
- Demonstrated experience working with digital communication and engagement platforms;
- Strong writing skills and experience writing for a digital audience
- A creative and experienced digital communications/ community engagement specialist;
