Job Description:
As a Technical Officer Level 4, you will be responsible for the Observing Operations Antarctic program that supports the Bureau’s Forecasting, Observing, and Climate programs. This includes data collection systems from surface, upper air, and satellite platforms. This position will be working in the Data and Digital Group in the National Observing Operations section, having a focus on practical and technical expertise to deliver the required outcomes for observing network operations within the Hub’s area of responsibility. This position is a voluntary remote posting within the Antarctic Program, under the Hobart Hub, Tasmania.
