Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lead, influence and gain the cooperation of internal stakeholders in a consultative and supportive manner.
  • A high level of computer literacy and the ability to apply information technology to business requirements.
  • Ability to write concise and clear reports for a range of audiences.
  • Local government experience is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification in risk, audit, governance, law, business or related discipline, and/or several years’ experience in a relevant field.
  • A sound understanding of the principles and practices of strategic risk, project risk and fraud awareness in an organisational context, including the application of Risk Management Standard (ISO31000), Fraud and Corruption Control Standard (AS8001:2021), relevant legislation and practices, and industry trends.
  • Ability to competently manage time and prioritise the duties and responsibilities of the position to achieve objectives in the most efficient way possible, within timeframes, and despite conflicting pressures.
