Job Description:
Council is seeking two self motivated and experienced individuals to join our Street Cleaning team and assist in the daily functions of the section including manual and mechanical street sweeping, shopping precinct cleaning, litter collection, emptying of public rubbish bins, dead animal collection and removal of illegal dumping.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant accreditations in a related field
- Current class HR driver’s licence.
- Well-developed communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to locate properties using a street directory, directions, and signage
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Availability to work flexible working hours.
Qualification & Experience:
- Previous experience in waste management collection and/or removal or similar field
- Relevant experience and appropriate qualifications in accordance with requirements outlined in the position description
