Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to assist the People & Culture team with the administration of recruitment activities at Bega Valley Shire Council.

As a People & Culture Administrator (Recruitment), you will access and maintain employee data held in the human resource information and payroll systems as well as prepare reports relating to recruitment. You will provide general administrative support to the People & Culture Officer as directed and undertake administration activities in support of:

Job Requirements:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders and ability to maintain confidentiality where necessary.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience working in a recruitment role.
  • Working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Office, Content Manager (or other records management software system) and recruitment platforms.
  • Proven experience delivering prompt high level customer service in a fast-paced environment.
