Job Description:
The Talen Partner will provide expert consultancy and end-to-end service delivery on talent acquisition and recruitment solutions to the business, attracting and engaging the right people at the right time for the right jobs in Council.
Job Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with clients, develop and implement innovative, targeted strategies and initiatives to attract and engage the right people to Council.
- Lead with professional advice and manage compliance with Council’s recruitment principles at all times,
- Use recruitment technologies in the provision of talent insights, workforce data and for the implementation of strategies in selection to engage talent.
- Research and understand employment market and organisational strategy and acumen, adapting talent approaches to ensure the service meets client resourcing needs.
- Maintain a strong understanding of organisational frameworks relevant to the engagement of talent, including but not limited to employment conditions, remuneration, employee benefits and key policies.
- Develop effective working and partnering arrangements with clients and stakeholders to deliver professional standards in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Job Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of Council’s core recruitment principles and practices.
- A tertiary qualification in business, human resources, or equivalent skills acquired through competency based experience.
- Current ‘C’ class Driver’s license to utilise council’s car pool vehicles to attend recruitment activities at any Council venue.
- Ability to contribute to team direction, give and receive feedback and achieve agreed performance standards in order to contribute to a culture of performance excellence.
- Proven track record of success in the development and delivery of the full suite of attraction, sourcing, recruitment and selection strategies, and recruitment consulting for diverse clients and occupations.
- Demonstrated strong client outcome focus in the provision of authoritative advice and consultancy services to hiring managers for complex and diverse talent solutions.
- Highly effective interpersonal, written communication, consultation and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated skills and capabilities in the research, analysis, and development of initiatives to emerging issues and trends in the recruitment industry and in the internal and external employment markets.
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in using relevant workforce trends and data to inform your talent attraction and sourcing strategies within the current employment market
- Experience managing multiple end to end bulk, specialised and niche recruitment processes
- Experience working as part of a self-managing team to share workloads, create consistent customer and candidate Experiences, and give and receive feedback in the spirit of performance improvement and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in the analysis of workforce data for informed decision making.
- Demonstrated ability (or experience) to contribute consistently and collaboratively to a talent campaign team and to work autonomously in a high performing team.
