Job Description:

The Business Grants Hub sits within the Departments Corporate and Digital Network and delivers grants on behalf of Australian Government client agencies. The Design and Liaison section manages relationships with external client agencies and leads the design of government granting programs under the Business Grants Hub. We collaborate with client agencies to design streamlined and fit-for-purpose programs, in line with whole-of-government frameworks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and co-ordinate the design of grant programs in line with guidelines, performance standards and frameworks
  • Engage with client agencies early in the design process to provide guidance and inform decisions
  • Shape, influence and negotiate program design with other members of a multi-disciplinary project team to achieve mutually agreed positions
  • Work with client agencies and enabling areas to manage progress against key deliverables to launch programs on time
  • Work with other teams across BGH to develop and improve shared templates and processes
  • Develop and maintain relevant technical and program knowledge to provide quality program, service and technical advice and expertise
  • Support, mentor and coach team members to develop their capability
  • Build a positive and productive culture within a high performing team
