Job Description:

Regulatory Systems and Improvement delivers and supports regulatory business systems and processes that build excellence in regulatory operations. Regulatory Systems manages the ongoing development of the key platform underpinning the regulatory workflows across ASIC – the ASIC CRM, Regulatory Portal, ASIC Search and related data and document repositories.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Regulatory Systems and Improvement team policies and procedures
  • Provide updates to Regulatory Systems and Improvement team on policies, procedures and best practices
  • Support internal and external stakeholder training activities including updates to learning resources
  • Ldentify opportunities for business process improvement and innovation
  • Undertake and coordinate user acceptance and product verification testing for systems improvements, new products and/or system releases
  • Handle escalated enquiries relating to One ASIC systems and Regulatory Transaction Registration processes, including trouble shooting complex issues and acting as a conduit between the business, relevant project teams and IT, to resolve or escalate complex issues
  • Liaise with external parties on ASIC’s lodgement requirements and online interactions
  • Provide guidance to ASIC teams on Regulatory Systems and Regulatory Transaction Registration processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and other stakeholders across ASIC’s regulatory businesses
  • Prepare and maintain information tools for Regulatory Systems and Improvement team members

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to understand business processes and undertake user acceptance testing
  • Understanding of ASIC’s regulatory remit, processes, and governance
  • Problem solving skills, including the ability to triage and resolve stakeholder and system issues
  • Ability to build and manage internal and external relationships, including working on projects to improve processes and systems
  • Strong customer service skills including the ability to identify and resolve internal and external user issues
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently, meet timelines and produce quality results

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong communication skills including written and verbal and experience in a stakeholder/customer service environment
  • Experience working independently and being accountable for outcomes
  • Experience developing team policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ability or experience analysing and interpreting information on databases and providing solutions
  • A relevant bachelor’s degree and/or experience maintaining customer relations and resolving customer issues in a complaints or support desk environment
  • Strong experience in the use of business systems including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and other similar software
